I thought I had better write a little more since I am a newbie blogger!

My topic today is why I take on so much? Why can't I say NO!

I am currently doing an NVQ level 3, starting an NVQ Assessors Award, and also doing a distance learning diploma in Counselling with Psychology and Psychotherapy. Along with those qualifications (if I ever finish them!), I'm working mostly at my restaurant, but also do some work on the side as a carer in the community. Now that I write it all down, it doesn't seem as much as it feels, but it sure does stress me out!

Any stress-busting techniques would be greatfully appreciated

From your stressed out spider woman,

Aria

A lot of coffee, mix in some patience, focus and at least one night a week to party, go out, etc...  That is my current formula to keep up a full time job and school.

Thanks guys! I really do need to take some time out and focus on me. I don't really go anywhere apart from work at the moment, and then I'm stuck trying to studyt (if I can make myself do it!), so I run out of time. Or I'll sit in front of the TV watching anything that moves, then realise I have wasted an afternoon. Ah, well...

PS Trina - I emailed you back.

When my daughter was stressed out and up all night trying to finish a research paper, she would wake me and ask that I make her coffee "like no other can"--two full coffee scoops for the cup and one for the pot. Plus I had to stay awake, too, to correct her paper.
